Jeollanamdo International Shooting Range
About
The Jeollanamdo International Shooting Range (전라남도국제사격장) is located in Naju, Jeollanam-do Province, South Korea, approximately 20 minutes from Gwangju. The facility is managed by the Jeollanam-do Sports Council and has a capacity of 400 spectators. Before the 104th National Sports Festival in 2023, the range underwent extensive renovations to upgrade all infrastructure to international standards.
Public shooting is available by prior phone reservation. The age limit is from 14 years. During each session, shooters receive individual supervision from a safety instructor who assists with loading and general technique.
The indoor part of the complex includes ranges for rifle shooting: 90 stations for 10m rifle, 3 stations for moving target at 10m, 50 stations for 10m pistol (final range – 10 stations), as well as 50 and 60 stations for pistol shooting at 25m and 50m respectively. These ranges are exclusively for athletes and are closed to visitors without the appropriate status. The range is an official venue of the Korea Shooting Federation and regularly hosts national-level competitions; during official tournament periods, access for the general public may be restricted.
Free parking is available on-site. The range is suitable for beginners in clay target shooting and preparation for competitions in the trap discipline.
