Jägerloch

The Jägerloch Shooting Range is a shooting facility of the Hunting Association of the Freudenstadt District (Jägervereinigung Kreis Freudenstadt e.V.), located in the Christophstal forest north of Freudenstadt in the Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The range caters to both hunters and sport shooters — from beginners to competition participants.

Clay target shooting is the main focus of the range. The Olympic setup for clays includes 15 machines. Sporting, trap, and skeet are available. All clay shooting disciplines are permitted to use only steel shot; the use of lead shot is strictly prohibited. Ammunition can be purchased directly at the range.

In addition to clay shooting disciplines, the facility features six 100 m lanes for large-caliber firearms, lanes for moving target shooting (hunting simulators), as well as four lanes for handguns. Beginners with no prior experience in shooting sports can undergo training only by prior written appointment. During the summer, individual and group training sessions with experienced instructors are organized; shotgun rentals, hearing protection, and ammunition are provided as needed. A gunsmith service from Waffen-Landmesser is also available at the range. Catering is organized during the operation of the shooting range.
