Jagdschiessanlage Bergfeld — a shooting range for clay target shooting and hunting training, located in Hinterkappelen near Bern (Canton of Bern, Switzerland). The Jagdschützen Bern club was founded in 1928 and hosts national and international competitions in clay target shooting.
The range offers four disciplines of clay target shooting. Trap is represented by two fields, each equipped with 15 machines — a total of 30 machines for trap. Skeet has one field with a classic arrangement of eight stations in a semicircle. Compact sporting is conducted on a separate field with 29 machines and 25 programs, allowing shooting at various trajectories of targets — singles and doubles — from all directions.
For hunting training, there are two "Rollhase" setups (cat hare left-right), a "Fangschuss" setup with a turbulent automatic, as well as "Kipphase" and "Kippreh". The rifle range has ten positions at distances from 60 to 200 m with Polytronic targets, including one 200 m position — unique for Switzerland. Here, one can take the mandatory accuracy test for hunters.
The range features a public restaurant, Bergfeld, as well as a gunsmith shop, Poyet AG, which sells sporting and hunting firearms, ammunition, and provides gunsmith services. The shooting range is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters preparing for competitions.
