About
Jagdgesellschaft Wiesental e.V. — a shooting range for clay target shooting in Waghäusel-Wiesental (Baden-Württemberg, Germany), located in a nature reserve. The club brings together hunters and sport shooters and specializes exclusively in shooting at clay targets with smoothbore shotguns.
The range features a separate skeet field and a trap field with five machines. Both sporting and hunting options for trap and skeet are available. Additionally, the available machines allow for simulating a "small hunting course": the shooter does not know in advance which machine will throw the target, which is an effective training for coordination and reaction.
Shotgun rentals are possible by prior arrangement, and ammunition can be purchased directly at the clubhouse. The club is entirely volunteer-run, so corporate events for large groups are not organized.
The range is suitable for both beginners picking up a shotgun for the first time and experienced trap shooters preparing for competitions at the level of the Baden Sports Shooting Association (BSV) championship.
