Irish Shooting Sports — a shooting range in Knocknagoshel, County Kerry, Ireland — is one of the most comprehensive shooting complexes in the southwest of the country. The facility is located on a 40-acre site near Castleisland and is accessible from Limerick and Cork.
Clay target shooting is the core of the offering: four covered all-weather stands encompass DTL, ball trap, trap, national skeet, Olympic skeet, and compact sporting. Additionally, there is a five-stand layout with 10 positions available for self-use. Thus, the range offers virtually the entire spectrum of Olympic and non-Olympic clay target disciplines in one location.
In addition to clay target disciplines, the complex includes an indoor 50-meter range for rifle and pistol shooting, as well as a separate archery range. All stands are covered and equipped with floodlights for evening shooting. The range operates year-round.
The infrastructure includes spacious parking, a refurbished clubhouse with a café, television, and restrooms, as well as a pro shop with a wide selection of shotguns, rifles, ammunition, and hunting gear. Qualified instructors with international experience provide training for beginners and prepare experienced shooters for competitions.
