IJSSC Bad Neuenahr — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located above the town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany), near the local airfield amidst the vineyards of the Ahr valley. The range is suitable for both beginners and experienced clay shooters, as well as for hunters preparing for practical exams.
The range offers four disciplines of clay target shooting: trap (both sporting and hunting variants), skeet (both sporting and hunting variants), and compact sporting. The trap section features two Olympic layouts, each equipped with 15 machines and one unpredictable target machine. Regular training sessions and competitions are held at various levels — from club and district championships to regional championships in skeet and trap.
The club's infrastructure includes a restaurant with hot meals and drinks, a separate club room, and an office that operates during the range's hours. In the office, ammunition (Clever Mirage and Nobelsport), shooting gear, and hunting clothing can be purchased. Shotgun rentals are also available. Personal ammunition is permitted.
IJSSC Bad Neuenahr is a convenient base for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and systematic preparation for competitions.
