About

The Biathlon Stadium Pavilion in Hälvälä is a service building of the Hälvälän Ampumaurheilukeskus ry (HAUK) shooting range located in Hollola, Päijät-Häme region, Finland. The range is situated on military territory of the Panssariprikaati, thus access is controlled: shooters are required to register with the supervisor before starting to shoot.

The main discipline of the complex is biathlon: the range has a separate track for summer and winter training. Additionally, HAUK manages a 10-lane small-bore rifle range at 50 m with electronic targets, as well as tracks for shooting at moving targets — moose (hirvi) and wild boar (villikarju). The 300 m track is currently closed until further notice. During off-hours and on weekends, HAUK also administers ranges of the Finnish Defence Forces: pistol, rifle, and tactical (tilannerata). For some ranges (10-lane pistol, 10-lane small-bore, 50 m moving target), prior training is required for access to the electronic systems.

Access is granted with a HAUK club card; guests can purchase a day pass. The range is suitable for both biathletes' training and for rifle shooters and hunters practicing shooting at moving targets.
