About
Haljala Jahilasketiir — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located in Varangu küla, Haljala vald, Lääne-Viru, Estonia. The facility is owned by the hunting society MTÜ Haljala Jahisport and caters to both experienced clay shooters and beginners, as well as hunters looking to improve their skills.
The range offers several disciplines of clay target shooting: compact sporting, sporting, ABT, and the Olympic discipline — skeet. The range started with one ABT machine and now has 19 machines. Among its features are shooting positions on the roof, which complicate the trajectories of the targets and make training more diverse. The range has hosted official competitions, including the Estonian Championship in Compact Sporting (CSP-200).
The range is open for shotgun shooting every Thursday from April 1 to September 31; on other days, it is by prior arrangement. Corporate events are organized under the guidance of an instructor — participants can try shooting for the first time in a safe environment.
