Great Guns Sporting is a public shooting range for trap shooting and related disciplines, located in Nunn, Colorado, approximately 30 km north of Greeley and east of Fort Collins. The facility has been open since 1996 and has grown from a 10-station sporting course to a fully-fledged multi-discipline range available to all enthusiasts seven days a week.
Trap shooting is the cornerstone of the offering: the sporting course features 15 stations, including positions with shooting from a 30-meter tower, providing atypical angles for clay target presentations. Five ABT fields and two American skeet fields offer a wide variety of disciplines — from classic series to preparation for the field season. A separate five-stand layout complements the trap offerings with a compact sporting format.
In addition to trap shooting, the facility offers: 42 positions for rifle shooting at distances from 25 to 300 yards, 36 positions for pistol shooting (7–25 yards), three practical shooting bays with steel targets, as well as an archery range. From September to March, pheasant and chukar hunting is available.
The facility is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters, and it also hosts corporate events and competitions.
