Goshen County Sportsman Club
About
Goshen County Sportsman Club — a shooting range for clay target shooting located near Torrington, Wyoming, USA. The club positions itself as the largest trap complex in Wyoming and welcomes shooters of all levels — from beginners to competition participants.
Clay target shooting is the club's main focus. The ABT area features 18 fields with automatic machines and an electronic voice call system; registered ATA competitions are held here. For skeet, there are 2 combined fields; both are illuminated. Sporting is represented in a five-stand format with 8 machines. The club regularly hosts leagues, ATA matches, and youth competitions, including the annual Dave Eaton Memorial Youth Shoot.
In addition to clay target shooting, the facility includes: an indoor 8-lane pistol range (25 yards, heated and air-conditioned), 3 outdoor pistol positions with canopies (one for .22 cal., two for larger calibers), an outdoor rifle range with 8 covered positions at distances of 25, 50, 100, 200, and 300 yards. The archery range is equipped with 6 targets, including 3D animal figures (turkey, pig, deer, moose). Camping and RV sites with 30 and 50 Amp hookups and a dump station are available for club members and guests.
The club is suitable for both first-time experiences with clay target shooting and preparation for official ATA-level competitions.
