Garlands Shooting Ground

Garlands Shooting Ground is located in Edingale near Tamworth (Staffordshire, England) and is one of the largest shooting ranges for clay target shooting in the Midlands region. Established in 1980, the range offers a wide variety of disciplines for shooters of all levels — from beginners to national competition participants.

Available clay target shooting disciplines include: sporting (English Sporting and Super Sporting), FITASC, compact sporting, skeet, trap in several formats — ABT, Olympic trap, double trap, sport trap, as well as Helice. The range is registered with the CPSA and regularly hosts top-level competitions, including the British Sporting Championship (2014, 2015, 2020, 2023). The sporting layouts are designed by Steve Lovatt and feature technically challenging targets. The trap layouts are equipped with covered positions; the range uses the Promatic "Plug and Play" system with pay-per-series.

Open training days are held every Thursday (evening), Friday, and Saturday without prior booking. From Monday to Friday, the range operates by appointment only. Individual and group training is available daily from Monday to Saturday; instructors work with groups of up to six people, and for larger corporate events, simultaneous service for up to ten groups is possible. There is also a separate range for zeroing rifles at distances of 100 meters and 100 yards.

On-site, there is a large clubhouse with a restaurant and bar, vending machines, and one of the largest gun shops in the Midlands with a wide selection of shotguns, rifles, ammunition, and accessories. There is a workshop with three independent gunsmiths. Parking spaces for campervans are available by prior arrangement.
