About
Galt Sportsmens Club is a private shooting club established in 1954 on a 250-acre site in Puslinch, Ontario, Canada. The club caters to both experienced clay shooters and beginners looking to master clay target shooting.
The skeet field features six stations, three of which are open for daily practice. The sporting course consists of up to 17 stations and is located on over 50 acres of marshland, providing a variety of target presentations. The five-stand format, recognized by NSCA, is equipped with eight machines. The club also offers FITASC. In 2013, it hosted the ICTSF World Championship in English Sporting.
In addition to clay target shooting, the club has an outdoor pistol range (25–200 yards), an outdoor rifle range, an indoor multi-discipline range (20 m) with 24/7 access for members, as well as archery sections (outdoor and indoor ranges, 3D course, crossbow allowed) and a fishing pond. Membership in the clay target section requires completion of a mandatory orientation course and a probationary period. The club does not provide shotguns for rent — personal firearms and a valid Canadian PAL license are required.
