Fin, Fur & Feather Club — a private membership club established in 1947 in Chaplin, Connecticut, USA. The range is geared towards experienced shooters and hunters, but is also open to beginners looking to learn clay target shooting.
The club offers a wide variety of clay shooting disciplines. There are eight trap fields equipped with the Canterbury Voice Release System. The skeet range hosts summer and winter leagues, as well as registered competitions in the summer. Sporting clays are held approximately six times a season during the summer months; the course features 7–12 rotating stations with 50 targets per round, and the traditional "back and forth" format provides 100 targets. There is also a five-stand layout.
In addition to clay shooting, the club has a pistol range with a covered firing line, steel targets, and a wooden dueling tree, as well as a rifle range up to 200 yards (~183 m). There is an archery training area and a 3D shooting course. The property includes a bar and a meeting room. Membership provides access to all ranges, fishing, and hunting grounds of the club.
The range is suitable for both competition preparation in trap and skeet, as well as seasonal training for hunters on the sporting course.
