Escola de Tiro Santo Isidro de Pegões — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Pegões Velhos, municipality of Montijo, Setúbal District, Portugal. The facility is surrounded by pine and eucalyptus forests and caters to both beginners and experienced clay shooters.
The range offers four disciplines of clay target shooting: trap, Olympic and universal trap, and compact sporting. Three stands are available for training and competitions. The school is the only officially recognized and accredited educational institution for clay target shooting, affiliated with the Portuguese Federation of Hunting and Shooting (F.P.T.A.C.). Since 2006, it has hosted training camps for the Portuguese national team in Olympic trap in preparation for European, World Championships, and the Olympic Games, and since 2011, similar camps for compact sporting.
The school organizes theoretical and practical training courses with qualified instructors in accordance with Portuguese legislation, allowing attendees to take the exam for a federal license. The premises include a restaurant and a pro shop. The range also hosts corporate events and group training for friends and colleagues.
With a combination of Olympic disciplines, accredited training, and developed infrastructure, the range is suitable for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and serious preparation for competitions.
