Olympic Shooting Range "Erdemli"
About
The Erdemli Olympic Shooting Range (Yusuf Dikec and Sevval Ilayda Tarhan Olympic Shooting Complex) is located in the Erdemli district of Mersin and covers an area of over 306,000 m². Opened in 2013, the complex serves as a training base and camp for the national team under the auspices of the Turkish Olympic Preparation Center (TOHM). Named in honor of the athletes who won silver medals at Paris 2024, the facility offers fully equipped infrastructure for Olympic disciplines of rifle and pistol shooting, as well as for clay target shooting. Indoor ranges allow shooting at distances of 10, 25, and 50 meters, while outdoors there are 5 fields for clay target shooting that meet the disciplines of trap and skeet. With a spectator capacity of 1,480, 16 changing rooms, and modern service units, the complex hosts national and international championships such as the Turkey Cup, as well as national team camps. With Olympic-standard equipment, spacious ranges, and a professional coaching staff, the Erdemli Olympic Shooting Range is an important center for Turkey in the disciplines of trap, skeet, rifle, and pistol, offering training opportunities year-round thanks to Mersin's Mediterranean climate.
