Eaton Hall Shooting Ground

Eaton Hall Shooting Ground is located in Doveridge, Derbyshire, England, on 80 acres of countryside. The range holds Premier Plus status from the CPSA and welcomes shooters of all levels — from beginners to national competition participants.

For skeet, there are six layouts covering English skeet and Olympic skeet — one of the largest skeet facilities in the UK; the range previously hosted the CPSA World Skeet Championship. For trap disciplines, available are: Olympic trap, two DTL layouts, and a permanent ABT layout located next to the skeet fields. Sporting is represented by two separate locations, including 'The Valley' with 15 competition stands and six training stands, updated every two to three weeks. Compact sporting features four specialized houses, one of which is two stories high. There is also an indoor sport trap layout, a rabbit run, and two towers up to 150 feet high to simulate game flight. Automatic machines operate on the Claymate system, allowing licensed shooters to practice independently with a delay function.

In addition to clay shooting, the range offers a 22-lane air rifle range, a small-bore rifle range (.22 LR), and full-bore ranges at 100, 200, and 300 meters, as well as a running boar target lane.

The infrastructure includes a clubhouse of approximately 1,860 sq. m with a café, The Gun Room shop, changing rooms, and corporate meeting rooms. Instructors for all disciplines are available, along with beginner classes, gun rentals, and accommodation cottages. The range regularly hosts registered CPSA competitions, including the British Open Sporting Championship.
