Durham County Wildlife Club (DCWC) is a private membership club in Morrisville, North Carolina, USA, located at 3616 Hopson Road in the heart of Research Triangle Park. Founded in 1946, the club occupies 96 acres of land, of which 40 acres are wooded.
Trap shooting is the club's main focus. Shooters have access to 7 trap fields and 6 skeet fields. A separate five-stand field with 20 machines operates; the target program changes weekly, providing a variety of shooting challenges. The club is affiliated with the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA), and National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA), allowing for registered competitions in all three disciplines. The maximum allowable shot size on the trap fields is #7½.
The pistol range is open exclusively to members who have passed the appropriate qualification test. The 20-acre archery range includes a certified NFAA course with 28 targets, 3D targets, and Olympic targets — also for members only.
The club features a large clubhouse, a lunch counter, an 11-acre fishing lake, and picnic areas. Shooting instructors are available for both members and non-members. The club is suitable for beginners making their first shots at clay targets as well as experienced shooters preparing for registered competitions.
