Complexe de Tir Sportif du Chenoua - Tipasa
About
The Chenoua Sporting Shooting Complex is located in the Tipasa Wilaya (Algeria), on the Mediterranean coast near the cape of the same name. It is the national shooting center of the Algerian Federation of Sporting Shooting (FAST), which has hosted top-level competitions — including the 2010 African Championship in Sporting Shooting and the 2018 African Championship for Cadets.
The range offers three disciplines of clay target shooting: Olympic trap and skeet. This is where the final stages of the Algerian Championship in clay target shooting were held, featuring the best shooters in the country.
In addition to clay target shooting, the facility also has sections for archery and air gun shooting (rifle and pistol). The complex is open to all categories of shooters — from beginners to national team athletes. There is a guest house of 305 m² with a cafeteria and barbecue area, as well as a youth hostel with 60 beds (completion status should be confirmed directly with the administration). The Chenoua range is the main venue for training Algerian shooters for international competitions and remains the leading center for clay target shooting in the region.
