Colossus Shooting Ground - Σκοπευτήριο Κολοσσός
About
Colossus Shooting Ground — a shooting range for clay target shooting on the island of Rhodes, Greece, located in the hills near the village of Afandou. The club was established in 2004, and the facilities were built in 2007. With an area of over 120 acres, this shooting range is considered the largest in Greece.
The range offers five disciplines of clay target shooting across four layouts: trap, skeet, sporting, and compact sporting. The machines are manufactured by Laporte. Targets are launched electronically from various directions, making the range interesting for both beginners and experienced shooters.
In addition to clay target shooting, the facility offers shotgun shooting at stationary targets (slug) and 10-meter air pistol shooting. Experienced instructors conduct individual lessons and group events — from corporate outings to celebrations. Guests can rent shotguns and protective gear (earplugs, etc.). There is a spacious clubhouse with a café, snack bar, and barbecue area on-site. The shooting range is located just 5 minutes from Afandou beach and hotel complexes, and 20 minutes from the airport and the city of Rhodes.
The facility is suitable for both tourists seeking active recreation and licensed shooters for training and competition preparation.
