About

Coffs Harbour Clay Target Club — a clay target shooting range located at 1012 Solitary Islands Way in Moonee Beach near Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia. The club has been in existence for over 60 years: it started at Macauleys Headland and later moved to its current site, which is owned by CHCTC Inc. The range is open to both club members and the general public and is affiliated with SSAA and SCA.

The club offers a wide range of clay target shooting disciplines. The trap section features three DTL layouts, and shooting is available in the following formats: Trap, Ball Trap, and Double Rise. The skeet section has two layouts — for Olympic skeet and English skeet. Additionally, sporting is available in the Field & Game format, five-Stand, as well as 'bush shoot' — a modified sporting on natural terrain. Overall, the range has more than 30 machines, all but two of which are remotely controlled.

Competitions and practice shoots are held every weekend and every second Wednesday. There are camping spots available on-site. The range is suitable for both beginners taking their first steps in clay target shooting and experienced shooters preparing for competitions in various disciplines.
