Cody Shooting Complex
About
Cody Shooting Complex — a public shooting range located in Cody, Wyoming, USA, at 61 County Rd 7 WC, approximately 3 miles north of the city on Highway 120. The complex caters to shooters of all skill levels — from beginners to participants in registered NSCA competitions.
Trap shooting is the central focus of the range. Four disciplines are available: ABT, skeet, sporting, and five-stand. FITASC format shooting is also recorded. The complex hosts several registered NSCA competitions annually, including previously hosting the Wyoming State Championship. Registration for competitions is done through the Score Chaser platform.
In addition to the trap disciplines, there are pistol and rifle shooting areas (12 positions), as well as rifle ranges with distances from 25 to 550 yards and steel targets for long-range shooting. Precision long-range shooting matches are held monthly.
The infrastructure includes 24 camping spots with 30 A hookups and water supply — convenient for shooters attending multi-day competitions. The range is suitable for both first-time exposure to trap shooting and preparation for state-level competitions.
