Clube Desportivo "Os Rolos"
About
Clube Desportivo «Os Rolos» is a shooting range for clay target shooting located in the municipality of Moita (Setúbal district, Portugal), near Alhos Vedros, a few kilometers south of Lisbon. The club was founded by António Rolo as "Clube de Tiro com Armas de Caça 'Os Rolos'" and has remained a key hub for clay target shooting in the region for decades. In the 1990s, the club had around 1,000 active members.
The range specializes in trap shooting and is registered with the Portuguese Federation of Hunting Weapons (FPTAC). It features three trap fields where official competitions have been held, including the Portugal Trap Cup stage (2016) and federal trials for FPTAC.
Since 2023, the facility has been leased to new management — Clube de Tiro Desportivo da Moita (CTDM), which continues sporting activities on the same fields.
The shooting range is suitable for both experienced clay shooters and those just starting their journey into clay target shooting. The federal accreditation from FPTAC allows for the hosting of qualification competitions and assessments for the renewal of federal licenses.
