About
Club Cinegético Jalisciense A.C. — a shooting range in Zapopan (Jalisco, Mexico), located at km 17.5 on the Guadalajara–Nogales highway in the La Venta del Astillero area. The club was founded in 1936 and has been operating at its current site since 1971; during this time, it has produced a number of international-level shooters and has hosted world championships in clay target shooting multiple times.
Clay target shooting is the core offering of the club. Available disciplines include Olympic trap with a trench of 15 machines and five positions, ABT, skeet (both Olympic and American variants), sporting, FITASC, five-stand, and heli shooting — the heli range is equipped with machines described as "alta tecnología".
In addition to clay target disciplines, the club offers tactical shooting, silhouette shooting at distances from 10 to 500 m, an Olympic range (rifle and pistol), and archery. Among the infrastructure facilities are a restaurant, swimming pool, steam bath, frontenis and basketball courts. The club regularly hosts regional and national competitions, including as part of the FEMETI calendar.
The shooting range is suitable for both beginners making their first shots at clay targets and experienced clay shooters preparing for the highest level competitions.
