About
Clinton Fish & Game Club — a shooting range for trap and rifle shooting, located in the town of Clinton, New York, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The club was established in 1937 and occupies about 50 acres of picturesque countryside. The range is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters.
Trap shooting is the club's main focus. Facilities for shooters include three skeet fields, one ABT field, one five-stand field, and a seasonal sporting course laid out in the woods; it is not operational during the winter season.
In addition to trap shooting, the club features a 200-yard (approximately 183 m) outdoor rifle range, an open pistol shooting area, and a 15-yard indoor pistol range with automatic targets. The outdoor rifle and pistol ranges are available only to club members from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM until 30 minutes before sunset; they are closed on Sundays.
The club offers rental shotguns, sells ammunition and shooting gear. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bar on the premises. The club hosts corporate events, conducts safety courses, and offers courses for obtaining a pistol permit.
