Bywell Shooting Ground

Bywell Shooting Ground — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located at Bywell Farm near Felton in Northumberland, England. A family business established in 1980, it operates from its own farmstead and is one of the few shooting grounds in the UK to have received Premier Plus status from the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) — the highest level of accreditation in the industry.

The range offers the following clay target shooting disciplines: DTL, ABT, English skeet, English sporting, and compact sporting. The ground regularly hosts registered CPSA competitions in these disciplines. It has welcomed prestigious tournaments, including the DTL World Championship, European Championship, British Championship, and English Championship.

On-site is a large pro shop with a wide selection of new and used smoothbore shotguns and rifles from leading brands — Perazzi, Beretta, Krieghoff, Browning, Blaser. Shooting clothing, gear, cartridges, and accessories are also available. Experienced instructors provide individual lessons and courses for beginners, including vouchers for training.

The shooting ground is suitable for both novice shooters just starting their journey into clay target shooting and experienced athletes preparing for CPSA-level competitions.
