About
Ball-Trap Club de Megève — a shooting range for clay target shooting in Megève, Haute-Savoie department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, France. The club is located at 5383 Route du Jaillet and welcomes shooters from beginners to experienced athletes from April to the end of November.
The range offers four disciplines of clay target shooting: trap, compact sporting, and ABT. The shooting area is covered, allowing for training and competitions in any weather conditions.
The club pays attention to comfort and safety: positions are equipped with sound insulation to reduce noise pollution, and there is a designated area for shooters with limited mobility. Biodegradable clay targets are used. The head and chief instructor of the club is Yves Tronc, a member of the French national team and an Olympic Games participant. The club conducts courses for beginners, training sessions, and corporate events with a large reception capacity.
Annually, the range hosts the "Megève Week" — a series of trap competitions that includes several trophies of varying levels. The shooting range is suitable for both first-time experiences with clay shooting and preparation for official competitions under the guidance of an experienced Olympic-level coach.
