Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club
About
Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club — a shooting range located in Cicero, New York, USA. The club operates solely on a volunteer basis and brings together hunters, anglers, and shooters of all skill levels — from beginners to competition participants.
The main focus of the shotgun sports is ABT. The range features 27 ABT fields equipped with Canterbury voice release systems. The club is registered with the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), which confirms the hosting of official American trap competitions. The club has a youth team, the Bridgeport Badgers / Bridgeport Breakers (ages 12–18), as part of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) with coaching support. Regular events include the night trap fundraiser "Glow Trap" and the annual "Rock and Shoot."
In addition to shotgun sports, club members have access to three pistol ranges (25 and 50 yards), a rifle range at 50, 100, and 200 yards, as well as a shotgun patterning range. There is also an archery range at distances of 10, 20, and 30 yards. The club offers courses for obtaining a pistol permit and personal defense training.
