Ball Trap Club Nancéien
About
Ball Trap Club Nancéien (BTCN) — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located in the commune of Maron, Meurthe-et-Moselle department (54), Grand Est region, France. The club was founded in 1967. The range occupies 9 hectares on a hill overlooking the Moselle River and offers a wide range of disciplines for both beginners and experienced clay shooters.
The range features layouts for ABT, DTL, skeet, compact sporting, and hunting sporting. The hunting courses replicate various conditions of field hunting — partridges, ducks, pheasants, hares, etc. — using a 25-meter tower and a 15-meter tower to simulate different trajectories of target flight.
The club conducts introductory sessions for newcomers: after a brief theoretical course and safety briefing, small groups under the guidance of club members can try clay target shooting. Corporate events for groups of any skill level are also organized. The range has a club shop with branded clothing. The club regularly participates in federal competitions and hosts regional championships.
