About
Ball-Trap de Cernay — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in the city of Cernay, Haut-Rhin department, Alsace, France. The club is situated on a 21-hectare site and is known throughout Europe for the level of its competitions and technical equipment. International competitions, French championships, and selection matches for the national Olympic trap team are regularly held here.
The range consists of six Olympic trap fields. The machines are LAPORTE models from 2019 with PROGETTI pullers, identical to those used at World Cups and the Olympic Games. Competition results are displayed in real-time on 12 screens in the clubhouse. In addition to trap, the range features skeet fields with Pull and Mark cabins, which are also used for Compak Sporting and Parcours de Chasse — with additional launchers such as Rabbit, Battue, Parabole, and Chandelle. ABT is also included in the club's list of disciplines.
Besides the clay target disciplines, the range has an indoor shooting range for air guns (10 m, electronic targets) and a range for .22LR small caliber firearms (50 m, shooting from a rest or prone, SIUS system with electronic score display). There is a pistol shooting section. The clubhouse, covering 750 m² over three levels, includes the restaurant "La Palombière". Firearm rental is available. The range is suitable for both beginners and shooters preparing for high-level competitions.
