Balheary Shooting Grounds is one of the premier clay target shooting venues in Ireland, established in 1968 and conveniently located in Swords, north of County Dublin, just 10 minutes from Dublin Airport and 25 minutes from Dublin city center. The range features a variety of shooting layouts, including two Olympic skeet ranges, two Down The Line stands, 10 English sporting stands, a compact sporting area, and a 120-foot tower — the tallest in Ireland, providing an exhilarating high bird shooting experience. There is also a .22 rifle stand on site. Balheary caters to all levels, from beginners to aspiring Olympians, with professional coaching regularly provided by renowned instructors. The facility offers group packages for celebrations, corporate events, team-building activities, and private functions at competitive prices. Club services are available, and catering can be arranged for groups. With disciplines covering Olympic skeet, national skeet, English sporting, FITASC, and DTL, Balheary Shooting Grounds is an excellent destination for clay target shooting enthusiasts visiting Dublin or the Leinster region. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
