Arras Ball Trap
About
Arras Ball Trap — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located in the commune of Maroeuil near Arras, Pas-de-Calais department, Hauts-de-France region. The club is accredited by the French Federation of Clay Target Shooting (FFBT) and holds the status of École Fédérale de Ball-Trap (EFBT), confirming its role in training shooters from beginners to competition level.
The range offers a wide variety of clay target shooting disciplines. For compak sporting, there are 9 stands — one of the largest infrastructures of its kind in the region. There are 5 stands available for DTL. Sporting clays are represented by 6 hunting simulation courses (parcours de chasse). Additionally, there are 4 trap fields and 2 runs for running boar. A separate 25-meter high tower with 4 machines also operates.
The club regularly hosts Grand Prix level competitions in compak sporting, DTL, sporting clays, and trap as part of the Arras Ball Trap Team series. Participation in competitions requires a valid FFBT license; a VIP license is available for foreign shooters at certain stages.
With its variety of disciplines and status as a federal school, Arras Ball Trap is suitable for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and preparation for serious competitions.
