About

Aichi General Shooting Range — a comprehensive shooting range located in Toyota City (Aichi Prefecture, Japan). It is situated in mountainous terrain at an elevation of approximately 669 meters and covers about 250,000 m². The facility combines clay target and rifle shooting, catering to both national competitions and individual or club training. The clay target section features five layouts: two for trap, one for skeet, one combined skeet/rabbit, and one combined trap-skeet with double trap capability. The layouts are equipped with mechanical throwers, allowing for training and competitions at a competitive level. It has already hosted official tournaments, including the national championship of the Japan Clay Target Shooting Association and the Aichi Prefecture championship. The rifle section includes several rifle ranges for various disciplines. In 2026, the range is set to host clay target shooting competitions as part of the Asian Games, so it will be closed for renovations from December 2, 2024, until the end of June 2026. The combination of trap, skeet, and rifle disciplines makes Aichi General Shooting Range convenient for both experienced clay shooters and those who are just starting to learn the sport.
