About
17 South Rod and Gun Club — a shooting range for clay target shooting and firearms disciplines, located in Fleming, Georgia (USA). The club was established in 2015 on over 200 acres and caters to both beginners and experienced shooters.
Clay target shooting is one of the club's key focuses. The range features 6 skeet fields, 2 DTL fields, and a sporting clays course with 15 stations. Additionally, a five-stand layout is available. Individual lessons, pair training, and corporate clinics led by experienced instructors are offered for shotgun shooters.
In addition to clay target disciplines, the club offers: indoor and outdoor pistol ranges at a distance of 25 yards, a rifle range with distances up to 525 yards (100–500 yards), 12 tactical bays for dynamic drills and scenario training, as well as a long-range shooting course with 10+ positions. A dedicated area for beginners with .22 caliber is also available. An archery range with a platform complements the club's sporting offerings.
The club provides equipment rentals, certified courses for beginners and advanced shooters, as well as corporate events. The pro shop operates daily. Membership grants unlimited access to all ranges from dawn to dusk seven days a week. There is a fishing pond on the premises. 17 South is suitable for first-time experiences with clay target shooting and for competition preparation.
